Why become a Christ Our Savior Donor
Christ Our Savior Catholic School envisions the following for its students:
- Opportunity for all children in Chicago and the South Suburbs to attend an exceptional Catholic institution regardless of financial status.
- Access to the latest state-of-the-art technology, tools and books for all students attending Christ Our Savior in an effort to prepare them for jobs within the 21st Century that have yet to be created. Knowledge and critical thinking are power for the next generation.
- In a world wrought with violence and negativity we want to produce students who are committed to a faith-filled life-style. Our goal is for our students’ actions to promote peace and justice in their families and within their communities; and for our students to have respect and acceptance for all members of our society.
It is our belief at Christ Our Savior that every step of our journey should be strategic and serve a higher purpose. The old adage, “It takes a village to raise a child,” is the premise on which our educational model is built. Due to the current economic situation, it is difficult to obtain adequate funds to help move our school into the 21st century and provide scholarships to families in need. Thus, we need the help of our community, corporations, small businesses, philanthropists, activists and community leaders. How the world develops depends on our actions today. Our children are our future and the next generation of leaders; we have no choice but to support their success. We hope you will choose to be a part of our Village Family by becoming a donor.
Christ Our Savior has 163 families and 214 children. We are closely affiliated with six parishes with a combined membership of 9,353 parishioners. Our outreach in the community begins with but is not limited to six supporting parishes and the communities they serve.
