SHEDSOMELIGHT

Christ Our Savior Catholic School

Greetings From Your Parish School

We wish to say thank you to Fr. Marty Michneiwicz, Pastor of St. Andrew the Apostle Parish, as he celebrates his farewell Mass today. Six years ago, Fr. Marty collaborated with the Pastors of Our Lady of  Knock,  St. Jude the Apostle, St. VictorÕs, Holy Ghost, and Queen of Apostles to form Christ Our Savior Catholic School.  Fr. Marty has been extremely supportive during these last six years in preserving Catholic education in the southeast suburbs.  The faculty and students honored Fr. Marty at Mass on Wednesday, June 2, with good wishes, cards, and a gift. May God bless you, Father Marty, as you journey off to your new assignment.  Your sandals will be very hard to fill. You will forever be in our hearts.

We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to the parishioners of St. Andrew the Apostle who welcomed us into their parish and school during these last six years.  You have been most gracious to the administration, faculty/staff, and students of Christ Our Savior Catholic School.  THANK YOU for your cooperation, support, and understanding.  We certainly will miss the East Campus building, your beautiful church, and kind parish staff.

We are currently taking applications for an experienced Marketing/Institutional Advancement Director for the 2010-2011 school year.  Please forward your resume to Christ Our Savior Catholic School, 900 East 154th Street, South Holland, Illinois  60473.  For further information, please contact Cindy Rogers or Karen Brodzik at 708.333.8173.

Both school offices will remain open during the month of June.  If  you know anyone with school age children, please send them our  way so they learn all about the wonderful program we are putting in place for the next academic year.  Parents/Guardians can tour the building during the summer months.  Please call or leave a message to set up an appointment.

On behalf of the entire faculty and staff of Christ Our Savior Catholic School, Miss Rogers and I would like to wish you a very restful, safe, peaceful summer.

 HAPPY SUMMER!
