A Personal Perspective on Christ Our Savior

My name is Patrick Okolo, and I am an 8th grade student at Christ Our Savior School.

I feel that my education at Christ Our Savior has made me the intelligent, kind and respectful person I am today.

Christ Our Savior School has helped sculpt my life as a follower of Christ.

The education I have received here is truly amazing. I have learned things that have and will continue to help me grow academically and spiritually throughout the rest of my life.

Because of the education I have received at Christ Our Savior, I was accepted to Marian Catholic High School for next year.

This is my final year at Christ Our Savior, and I will truly miss my friends, my teachers and the other faculty members. This school is my home, and I hope that you feel it is your home, too.

Look What He Did!

Congratulations to Jordan Williams,Grade 8, for creating an organization to help raise awareness of hunger and for supporting the Student Council’s Thanksgiving Food Drive. Jordan passed flyers out all around his neighborhood as well as to family and friends.

His flyers read:

“Hello, my name is Jordan Williams. I am the founder of a new organiztion called ”F.O.C.U.S.” My goal is to make F.O.C.U.S. an organization that will help peole world-wide. For my first project, I am collecting canned goods to donate to my schools’ Student Council Food Drive. I’ve been involved in collecting and donating canned goods at my school in previous years, so I decided to donate canned goods as my first project.

I am asking your help and support by donating canned goods. The last day is Friday, November 16. Donations can be dropped off down the street (call for address) or feel free to contact us to pick up your donation. We can pick up donations as late as Noon on Friday. If you would like to make a monetary donation, we will purchase the canned goods for you. Any amount will always count!

You can contact me at (phone # was listed), or my assistant, Melanie Sharpe (my Mother) at (phone # listed).
