Shed Some Light for January 10, 2015

On Saturday, January 10, most of our 8th grade students chose to take the annual placement test for Catholic high schools across the Archdiocese of Chicago. Every year 97 percent of our 8th grade graduating class attends a Catholic high school for their continued education.  Catholic high school students in the Archdiocese of Chicago have a 96 percent attendance rate and a 99 percent graduation rate, with 95 percent of graduates enrolling in a college or university, according to the Archdiocese of Chicago.  In 2014, graduating Catholic high school seniors were offered more than $200 million in college scholarships. Please continue your support of Catholic Schools, and we ask that you keep the COS Class of 2015 in your prayers. We need to keep Catholic education ALIVE in this part of our community!
