Our 8th grade students had the opportunity to observe Mr. McMillen dissect a fetal pig in our Science Discovery Lab. Students watched as Mr. McMillen removed the esophagus, stomach, small intestine, large intestine, lungs, heart, trachea, gall bladder, kidneys, liver, spleen and liver of the pig. Our students then worked in pairs to dissect their own fetal pig. Students identified the internal parts and removed them as well. What an outstanding lab experience that our 8th graders endured. And no one fainted!!
